spot the Dot (terel)

this moulting adult Dotterel was with a small flock of Golden Plover on a dragged field this afternoon -- as usual heat haze and dust from tractors and combines meant for some exciting light --often incredibly hard to see in the ruts in the field as it squatted down and even harder to pick out in flight in spite of the obvious size difference
