some of the shots I have hoped for for several years -- a lot of bird photography is based on luck but being in the right place and at the right time and knowing your bird's behaviour can reduce the odds -- getting two decent raptor species on the memory card in one day that started out with torrential rain was truly an unexpected bonus

Great pictures....this hawk looks much like the Northern Harrier or Marsh Hawk of North America..the Owl like face is a dead give away
