Amherst Island

the ferry and a few scenes from a very frozen Amherst; an island I first read about in the early 1990's in Birding magazine now visited; the ferry was like an ice breaker crossing the frozen lake Ontario -- the Coyote was out on the ice between Amherst and Wolfe Islands hunting on the frozen lake surface all afternoon, what it was looking for I have no idea; the Red Fox added to the mammal list
