over 12 years I have recorded 190 different colour ringed Black-tailed Godwits at this roost; one of the birds ringed in 1993 and first seen in 1995 was seen today with several other old friends; Orange flag/ Yellow Lime/White shown here is a french ringed bird - you can just seen that it says Paris on the metal ring on the tarsus -- all details are supplied to the co-ordinating ringers and full histories logged
