the intention was to head for the prairie and historical native indian site of Writing on Stone Provincial Park, Writing-on-Stone - AlbertaParks.ca -- before the turn off at Milk River we came across a fine Pronghorn antelope then the notes started to get scrambled! -- rounding a corner the first of many 100 Richardson's ground squirrels appeared on the roadside, an American Badger ran across the road but by the time I had grabbed the camera it focused on the grass and the badger disappeared down a hole! On the fence was a fine Western Kingbird --
