not much action today but this bird caught at least two voles in ten minutes which was good to see; it has adapted to hunting voles around the Pheasant feeders where the snow is thinner and presumably there are more voles and mice attracted by the seed-- it seemed to pounce from a greater height and at a greater velocity to take it into the snow
